In the ‘Fountain of Youth’ where in his own imitable style, the Mighty Spoiler imagines a world where time can be restored, where youthful vitality can be renewed. It is a whimsical calypso heaven for his calypso soul. Of course, the Mighty Spoiler is too much of this earth to hope for a heaven without change. Thus, he imagines that when one’s rejuvenated girlfriend forgets to take her bath, the price is age and decay, which leads to moments of shock and horror for her paramour. This horror, however, is endowed with a fairy tale quality so that it never frightens, it simply entertains.
